Brazil’s furniture exports soared in the first quarter

In March 2021, the export of wooden furniture increased by 37% year on year. The main destination is the United States, with exports up 32% in the first quarter of 2021.
Brazil’s trade relations with Chile have grown, benefiting Brazilian furniture exporters, as furniture exports grew by more than 180% in the first quarter of 2021. Two other South American countries, Uruguay and Peru, have also strengthened their trade relations with Brazil. Brazil’s furniture exports to both countries are growing.
