A plastic cone (or stacking indicator) will be placed on top of the pallet to prevent any stacking.

A complete inspection of each pallet is very crucial upon arrival to assure that no damages have been made by the carrier during transport.  We recommend that every pallet and each piece in the order be inspected with the carrier’s driver present. The authorized person(s) must be present upon the arrival of the order to inspect and verify the number of pallets and each piece delivered are accurate and free from any damages.  please designate another person who can be present when your order arrives and will take the responsibility to inspect all pallets and each item in the order.

Please make sure to follow these easy inspection steps before signing off on the delivery:

  • Check the overall appearance of the order, making sure that there are no major visible damages on any of the corners or the surface wrapping;
  • Make sure the cone (No Stacking indicator) on the top of the package is not damaged or smashed. If the cone appears damaged in any way, this may indicate that your package has been stacked on by other pallets or boxes, and may have caused possible damages to your cabinets.
  • If any damage is discovered, please make detailed description notes on the carrier’s receipt while the carrier’s driver is present. Taking photos of the conditions will be of great help in the event a claim with the carrier is necessary.
  • Please confirm that the carrier’s receipt (and what has actually been delivered) correctly corresponds to the pallet and item count that was provided by CabinetDIY via email.
  • Please, DO NOT refuse the delivery or any item therein, even if there are signs of damage.

Please make sure all inspections have been followed as recommended. Without thorough inspection and written detailed documentation of any damages that occured to the order during shipping, the customer has waived any claims against the carrier.

If you are interested in a particular cabinet that is out of stock, contact customer service for availability.

Q: Can I get these Ready-To-Assemble Cabinets Unfinished?
A: No, our RTA cabinets are only available finished. For fully assembled, unfinished kitchen cabinets visit our Pennsylvania factory at UnfinishedKitchenCabinets.net.
Q: I don’t see the size I need. Can these Ready-To-Assemble cabinets be customized?
A: These cabinets are pre-packaged and ready to ship. Only some of them can be customized, to a certain extent. However, we can provide fully assembled cabinets from another manufacturer that can be made to any size. Call Customer service for more information.
Q: Do I need to purchase finished pieces for the sides of the cabinets?
A: The Glazed Mocha Cream line is the only one that requires finished panels, purchased separately, to be attached to the exposed sides of the cabinet. All other lines are finished the same color inside and out. Many of the lines have decorative end panels available but they are not necessary. They dress the cabinets up!
Q: How do I secure an island cabinet?
A: You pre-drill and countersink holes about an inch off the floor, along the back and sides of the cabinet and screw it to the floor. You then install a molding to cover the screws. You can also drill through the floor of the cabinet and use long lag screws to secure the cabinet if you would rather not use molding around the base of the island. Remember that overhanging counters can cause leverage on the cabinet, so secure the island well and make sure the countertop is also well secured with screws and liquid nails where the countertop contacts the cabinet.
Q: What assembly method will I get?
A: Assembly Methods:
The assembly method varies per cabinet style. Please look for this info on the cabinet line description page on the specific style you are interested in.
Q: What kind of shelves will I get?
A: The wall cabinets have adjustable shelves and the base cabinets have a stationary half shelf.
Q: When I order a glass door for an RTA cabinet, do I still get the original door?
A: Only in some cases. Many RTA cabinets are pre-packaged with the original, matching door. Rather than unpack the original door, we simply send you the glass door as a separate item as it was ordered. However, some styles have the option to order a cabinet with the glass door included. If it’s ordered as one item only the glass door is included.
Q. Are the sides of the cabinets flush?
A. There is a recess on the side panel, called a scribe (an extension of the end stile past the side panel) that allows for proper alignment adjustments in the case of walls that are not perfectly square and plumb. Finished end panels can be added to exposed sides if desired but all our cabinets have finished sides except the Glazed Mocha Cream and the Onyx Accent Cabinets.
Q. How much is my shipping cost?
A. Once you have your items in the shopping carts, select the Calculate Shipping link below your items in the Shopping Cart on the right hand side of the page. You will need to enter your destination State and Zip code.
Q. Can you look at my design from someone else and tell me what to order?

Q. When will my order ship?
A. Most orders ship within 3-5 business days, but it may take up to 7 days due to sales volume, which can get quite high during sales.
Q. Can I pick up my order at your factory?
A. No. Our products are warehoused in several locations across the country. Insurance and logistics prevent us from allowing local pickup.
Q. Are the cabinets finished on the inside?
A. Yes.
Q. How will I know when my order is shipped?
A. We will send you an email with the tracking number and the name of the carrier. You will need to contact them to make a delivery appointment.
Q. Are the backs of the cabinets finished?

Like the Forbidden City building is the wooden tenon connection method Three in one connector: also called eccentric connector, it is composed of eccentric wheel, connecting rod and embedded rubber particles. The materials are zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, plastic, etc Because the wood tenon connection does not use the metal connecting rod, all rely on the wood concave convex structure for connection. The three in one connector is composed of metal and plastic, which is easy to assemble and fast Wooden tenon is made of wood, and the price is expensive. Professional CNC equipment is required for machining, and the hole must be completely vertical or parallel to the plate. Therefore, the price of wood tenon connection technology is more expensive The three in one connector requires low machining accuracy and can be processed manually. There are many eccentric parts manufacturers with large output and lower price than mortise joint Summary: the wood tenon connection technology is complex and the price is high, and the three in one connection parts almost occupy the whole household market with economic benefits Furniture hardware three in one connector is often used in our daily life, such as nuts, eccentric parts, etc., which we have used, but we do not know that those accessories are furniture hardware three in one connector.

This paper introduces the knowledge of furniture hardware three in one connector for your reference Three in one furniture hardware three in one connector consists of three parts: nail and slot Falcon structure in traditional carpentry is three in one They are eccentric head (also known as eccentric nut, eccentric wheel, eccentric part, etc.), connecting rod (bolt), embedded nut (expansion bolt, plastic commonly known as plastic particle).

Three in one connector material

  1. Eccentric head material: generally there are zinc alloy and aluminum alloy, but zinc alloy is the main material on the market; 2. Connecting rod material: generally there are three kinds of materials, including iron, zinc alloy and iron + plastic. Among them, the domestic furniture manufacturers generally use iron and zinc alloy materials, but the requirements are not so high, so the domestic common use of iron + plastic connecting rod
  2. Embedded nut: zinc alloy, plastic and nylon are the most common materials. The three materials have their own advantages. Different materials can be selected according to different requirements of customers Bolt furniture hardware three in one connector is used for vertical connection between panel furniture boards. Some special connectors can realize horizontal connection between two boards and interactive connection between three boards. It is generally used for medium density board, high density board and particleboard.

  2. Concealment. The three in one connection is not visible from the outside surface
  3. Three in one connection can be disassembled many times. This is also one of the characteristics of panel furniture.
  4. Embedded nut — special for reinforcement; connecting rod — special for connection; eccentric head — solve the problem of locking between plates

Installation method of three in one connector of embedded nut furniture hardware

  1. First, knock the tip of the plastic embedded part down into the round hole of the board, and make sure it is flat with the board after entering.
  2. Then screw the screw into the embedded part until the lower metal thread part can not be seen. Pay attention not to over tighten it to prevent the embedded part from tripping.
  3. Lower the side plate of screw in to align with the plate hole to be inserted, and pay attention not to bend the screw.
  4. Cross the eccentric part outward and align it with the exposed screw.
  5. Continue with the above steps, just rotate and tighten the eccentric parts.

Precautions for three in one connection of furniture hardware

Cabinet Quality Standard and buying guide

Cabinet Quality Standard and buying guide

Choosing cabinets is very important because it may accompany consumers for many years. When choosing cabinets, the following aspects should be considered:

Although the price of brand cabinets is high, if there is a quality problem in the product, it is possible to find the merchants to replace or repair them. Its meticulous service and after-sale guarantee are the important guarantee for buying cabinets.

Choose the cabinet according to your own preferences. Choose the cabinet style and color to be consistent with the overall style of the home.

When choosing cabinets, we should not only look at the table panels and doors, but also distinguish the cabinets manufactured by manufacturers from those produced by small workshops. The most important thing is to see whether the cabinets and sealing strips are processed by machine moulding. The improper sealing of the sealing strip can cause oil fume, dust and insects to enter. Are there any special waterproof designs added to the mesa?

For cabinets, material quality is the main factor affecting the quality of cabinets, different material prices are also different, the specific difference lies in the door panels, cabinets and countertops of the material. In addition, hardware is easy to be overlooked by householders, the quality of hardware is related to the life and price of cabinets, so we need to pay more attention to it.

You can try the following: 1. Look at the overall appearance of the cabinet, smoothness and color matching. The first is more important. 2. Installation of door panels and handles, adjusting the gap symmetry 3. Open the box to see the sealing edge strip. The seam is uniform and uneven. Are there burrs, cracks and glue opening? 4. Hinge quality and manufacturer’s label, whether there is a warranty period. Usually the guide will emphasize the importance of hardware, the number of switches and the weight. 5. Is there any discomfort in the eyes and nose after opening the door panels? If formaldehyde exceeds the standard, the eyes will be astringent and the nose will smell the pungent odor (some exhibition hall boxes will put some dried flowers and spices to dilute the odor). 6. The countertop is more important, and some businessmen use half of the countertop. Be careful if there are any test reports and authorizations. It is better to choose a small sample to be compared with the expected opening of the table which will be installed at home in the future. Prevent suboptimal production. 7. If you are worried that the formaldehyde content in the cabinet will exceed the standard, you’d better reserve the samples in the exhibition hall. Sample the section of the sheet to see if the pressing of granular sheet is very tight, if loose means that there is a problem with the sheet.

How to identify the quality of cabinets

How to identify the quality of cabinets?

Excellent cabinets are many times better than inferior cabinets in terms of appearance, use feeling and long life. So when we decorate cabinets, we must choose good quality products, so as laymen, how to identify the quality of cabinets?

  1. Look at the details

Can see the details of the cabinet, some poor quality cabinets in the workmanship can be rough, so in the choice can see whether the cabinet’s edge and door panels are closely integrated, whether there are seams, whether the edges are smooth, shiny and so on. These are easy to identify in detail.

  1. Looking at Appearance Design

When identifying the cabinet, you can see the appearance design of the cabinet brand. The real brand cabinet gives people a feeling of luxury, fashion and elegance. It is very fine in workmanship. Generally, the better cabinet has a smoother appearance line and will not feel rough.

  1. Installation quality

Look at the installation quality of the cabinet, the gap between the cabinet body and the ground is very close after the installation of the good cabinet, while the door panel is installed horizontally and vertically, the door panel is closed closely, and the gap between the doors is small and uniform. In addition, it also depends on whether the drawers, hinges and functional components are stable and smooth.

  1. Look at the Making Material

Good overall cabinet in the workmanship and material are better, and the material used is the latest, in the workmanship is also more exquisite, the use is made of solid wood.

  1. Look at the overall layout

Look at the overall layout of the cabinet, in the design to meet the various practical functions of the cabinet, such as: cleaning, storage, cooking and so on. The layout and size of the space between the appliances should be arranged reasonably, so that it is more convenient to use.

As long as the above five points are qualified, then the completed cabinet has no major problems. Baili Aijia started with cabinets, striving to satisfy the highest user experience. It keeps up with the new plate. At present, the use of Aige board has reached the foreign environmental protection grade of F4 star. For hardware, it is also the choice of the best quality Bailong and Heidi’s poems with very high cost performance. From design, production to installation, we are the quality of craftsmen in every link. We hope that every customer who chooses us will not regret it!

As trade frictions between Washington and Beijing escalated, the U.S. Department of Commerce ruled Tuesday that importers of Chinese wooden cabinets and dressers would receive a guarantee of up to 229% in response to a petition filed earlier this year by the American Cabinet Alliance.

In their petition, U.S. cabinet traders accused Chinese cabinets worth about $4.4 billion in imports of dumping more than 200% over the years, resulting in losses of at least $2 billion.

Tim Brightbill, a trade lawyer representing the industry from Wiley Rein LLP, Washington, said in March that Chinese exporters receive double-digit subsidies based on the number of schemes to support their domestic industries, including land discounts, electricity, raw materials, grants, discounted loans and export incentives.

“Today’s ruling provides hope for the U.S. kitchen cabinet industry to fight against China’s unfair trade practices.” Tephen wellborn, director of product and research development at Wellborn Cabinet, a member of the industry alliance, said in an e-mail statement.

According to the Ministry of Commerce statement, the deposit will be collected from Henan Ediga Furniture Co., Ltd. and Deway International Trade Co., Ltd., both of which were found to receive 229% of the subsidy. Other Chinese manufacturers will be charged a margin of 11% to 22%.

According to the government statement, the Ministry of Commerce will issue a final decision in December. ITC of the U.S. International Trade Commission is expected to make a final decision on whether to approve the countervailing duty on January 30 next year.

A delegation of cabinet importers expected ITC to overturn the decision, saying that companies suing would not be able to increase employment in the United States if countervailing duties were established.

“Many of the companies that filed the case imported their own products from China. If they imposed tariffs on imports, they would not bring their work back to the United States, but would transfer more production to supply chains already established in Vietnam and Mexico.” “We believe that the government will make sure that the petitioners will not be damaged by the ready-made assembly cabinets imported from China,” the Federation of American Cabinet Distributors said in a statement.

The US and China Economic and trade frictions have recently escalated. President trump announced a 10% tariff on Chinese goods worth about $300 billion last week. Beijing has vowed to fight back. As for the previous anti-dumping and anti-subsidy “double-anti” investigations launched by the US side on Chinese imports, the Ministry of Commerce of China has repeatedly expressed the hope that the US government will abide by its commitment to oppose trade protectionism and jointly safeguard a free, open and fair international trading environment so as to properly handle trade frictions in a more rational way.
