The newly released supervision and spot check results of 200 batches of children’s furniture by Jiangsu market supervision and Administration Bureau showed that 23 batches were unqualified, with a failure rate of 11.5%, mainly due to problems in structural safety related items, warning signs, formaldehyde emission, etc. The reporter saw that among the 23 batches of unqualified samples, 9 batches of children’s furniture exceeded the standard, accounting for nearly 40%.
